Description
This is a ready to fit carburettor assembly for the Robin EX40. It’s supplied with the choke lever. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, and many of those machines sit unused between jobs or over winter. That’s usually where carburettor trouble starts: old fuel leaves varnish that blocks the jets and sticks the float needle. The engine then won’t start, won’t idle, surges under load, or floods.
Why stock this?
This is a considered purchase rather than a consumable, but it moves steadily. Demand peaks in spring, when machines come back into use after winter with stale fuel in them. On a badly varnished or corroded carburettor, the labour to strip and clean it can approach the cost of a new one, and there’s no guarantee the clean will work. Swapping in a complete assembly gets the machine out the same day.
