Description
This screw-on cap seals the fuel tank on the Robin EX40. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, machines that get refuelled on site and moved around on trailers and vans. Caps usually need replacing because they’ve been lost, have cracked, or have a perished seal that leaks fuel in transport. A blocked vent causes a harder fault to diagnose: the engine starts and runs then dies as the fuel stops flowing.
Why stock this?
This is a low cost part that moves steadily, because caps go missing whenever machines are refuelled on site. A machine shouldn’t go out with an open tank, which lets in dirt and water, or with a leaking cap soaking the back of a van. With caps on the shelf, it’s an over-the-counter sale and never a reason to hold a machine back.
