Description
This is the complete air filter housing for the Robin EX40. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, where dust and site knocks are part of daily running. Housings usually need replacing after a crack from impact or vibration, snapped cover clips, or a warped base. Any of these lets unfiltered air bypass the element and quickly wears the bore and rings.
Why stock this?
This is a considered purchase rather than a fast moving consumable, usually arising after a machien has been dropped or knocked. That machine shouldn’t go back out as it is: on a dusty site, a broken air cleaner can do more damage to the engine in a week than a year of normal running. With one on the shelf, a cracked housing is a same day swap.
