Pressed heat shield that fits over the silencer to guard the hot surface and protect surrounding components. It’s a routine replacement on Robin engines driving pressure washers, generators, plate compactors and water pumps, where covers corrode through, get knocked out of shape in transit, or go missing after a silencer change.
Why stock this?
Steady rather than fast, but it’s the part that gets a hire machine through an inspection since a missing or burnt-through guard is a straightforward fail. It comes up alongside silencer and gasket changes, so it’s worth holding with the silencer gasket rather than on its own. it’s cheap enough that a dealer will add one to an order rather than wait.
