Description
This assembly strains the fuel on its way from the tank to the carburettor on the Robin EX40, catching dirt and debris before they can reach the jets. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, machines that are often refuelled on site and left standing with fuel in them. A strainer blocked with dirt or old-fuel varnish restricts the fuel flow, so the engine loses power or cuts out under load. A cracked or perished assembly can also leak fuel.
Why stock this?
This part moves steadily and comes up on fuel starvation and fuel leak jobs. Neither is a fault a machine should go back out with. Having one on the shelf means a quick swap instead of a machine waiting in the workshop for a part.
