Description
This sealing gasket seals a joint on the Robin EX40. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, which run under constant heat and vibration. Packings harden and flatten with age and usually tear when the joint is taken apart. When that happens, the joint leaks, and the packing has to be replaced before the joint goes back together.
Why stock this?
This is a small part that’s easily overlooked until it holds up a job. Once the joint has been opened, the old packing can’t be trusted to reseal, so the job can’t be finished without a new one. Keep a few alongside the other EX40 gaskets so a repair can be closed up and handed back the same day.
