Description
This is the paper panel element for the Robin EX40 air cleaner. It has a moulded seal around the edge so dust can’t get past it. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, all of which often work in dusty or dirty conditions. A clogged filter shows up as lost power, hard starting and black smoke. A torn or badly seated filter is worse as it lets dust straight into the engine and wears it out.
Why stock this?
This the fastest moving consumable on the engine. It’s replaced at every service and whenever hire kit comes back caked in site dust, so it’s worth holding several rather than one. It’s a low cost part, but a machine sitting in the workshop for want of one is lost revenue.
