Description
This gasket seals the bonnet joint on the Robin EX40. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, where engines run long hours under heat and vibration. Gaskets harden and compress with age and often tear when the joint is opened, so a new one is needed whenever the bonnet comes off, either to cure a leak or as part of a wider repair.
Why stock this?
This is a low-value part, but it holds up repairs. A gasket can’t reliably be reused once the joint has been opened, so a missing gasket can leave a stripped-down engine sitting on the bench for days. It’s worth holding one alongside the other EX40 gaskets so any job that opens the bonnet can be closed up the same day.
