Description
A carburettor assembly for the Robin ER12, the 120cc engine fitted to trench rammers. Rammers spend long spells parked between jobs, and stale fuel left standing in the bowl is what does the damage. The result is hard starting or an engine that will not hold revs under load. Fitting a new carburettor is normally quicker than stripping and cleaning an existing one.
Why stock this
Carburettors are the most common Robin failure a dealer sees, and on rammers the cause is almost always fuel left sitting over rather than wear. That makes demand seasonal and predictable and incentivises the fuel system along with it: fuel cap, filter are all worth putting on the same order, because a carburettor that has silted up once will do it again if the supply side isn’t sorted out at the same time.
