Description
his is the oil sensor that stops a Robin EX21 when the oil level drops too low, protecting the engine from running dry. The EX21 powers plate compactors, water pumps, pressure washers and generators. On machines that work on a slope or get topped up irregularly, this sensor is what saves the engine. When the sensor fails, the engine won’t start which is often mistaken for an ignition fault.

Once the sensor is identified as the fault, the only proper fix is a new one: disconnecting it gets the machine running but leaves the engine unprotected. With one on the shelf, a low value part doesn’t hold up a customer’s machine.
