Description
This is the engine-mounted fuel tank for the Robin EX40. The EX40 is fitted to pressure washers, generators, water pumps and larger plate compactors, which are often stored with fuel in them and moved around on trailers and vans. Tanks are usually replaced because they’ve rusted inside, leak from a seam or pinhole, or have cracked at the mountings from vibration. Rust flakes inside a tank are a common hidden cause of a carburettor that keeps blocking after it’s been cleaned.
Why stock this?
This is a considered purchase. It’s bulky and moves less often than service parts, so most workshops will order it for a specific job. It usually comes up as the answer to a repeat fault: a machine back for its second or third carburettor clean, where the tank is the real problem. Quick supply means the customer gets a proper fix rather than another clean that won’t last.
